Today, 03/18/2024, is another interesting day for NVIDIA stock. It opened at $903.88 and hiked up to $924.05 in the early-hours trading, but did not hold the price, closed at $884.55. Which is about 1% increase from last Friday’s close price of $878.36. And, more interestingly, that the stock price further dropped to $869 at after-hour trading. It seems to me that the investors already priced in all the goodness of GTC news, so the GTC event did not really drive the stock price up.
And, the most interesting thing is that though NVIDIA stock price did not go up because of GTC, there are two other stocks price went up after-hour because NVIDIA mentioned their partnership with them.
I am going to schedule closing out my put positions tonight and see if my target prices get hit or not tomorrow.
