Shane Parrish in The Tim Ferriss Show said that he wants his kids to be challenged at schools. It is not about grades. We as parents, often are so wrapped up that their grades become our grade, and their success become our success. We should produce independent individuals who can handle the ups and downs of life. They are going to fail, and they are going to struggle. There will be teachers that they do not like. There will be grades they may or may not deserve.
I think there are a lot of truth to what he said, and the same time it can be quite hard to change the mindset.
