What a trading day today. It was another down day in the stock market. I didn’t make many trades—just sold few put options on NVIDIA, which are now in a loss position. I’m okay with that, since they won’t expire for another three weeks.
Last year, I mostly sold two-week options. But this year, with all the volatility, I find that three-week options work better for me. Again, these are all personal judgment calls.
This week is a big earnings week. Tesla reports after the bell on Tuesday, IBM on Wednesday, and both Alphabet and Intel on Thursday after the bell. It’s shaping up to be a very interesting week for trading, for sure.
